Crime Victims Fight Back! The AG’s Crime Victims’ Response Unit (“CVRU”) supports victims. We provide information (e.g. victims’ rights and protections, the criminal justice system processes, emergency assistance, etc.), supply case updates, refer for counselling services, create safety plans, connect victims with prosecutors, participate in any plea agreements that avoid potentially uncertain trials and generally to help you receive Justice.
