The Dignity Project’s mission is to offer a compassionate and humanitarian respite from the difficulties of life. Under the Attorney General’s guidance, The Dignity Project brings together government and private sector leaders to assist those in urgent need. It provides an evening meal, facilities for cleaning up, showering, and sleeping, a light morning refreshment, and a chance to work. Emulating the “soup kitchen” approach of the 1930s Great Depression, The Dignity Project requires nothing from those it aids, offering only a helping hand and the chance for an evening’s peace.
